With Indian farmers, farming systems and end consumers in mind, Urvara Agro Biotech Pvt. Ltd. (UAB), an ISO 9001:2008 Company, has ventured into creating a unique value-chain of agriculturally important crops that best captures the diversity, and yet unity of the Indian palate and consciousness.

Our approach is based on popularising novel varieties of food crops that are resilient to climate change, recommended for general cultivation, and released by the National Agricultural Research System (NARS).

By undertaking production and marketing of improved varieties and hybrids of a wide array of crops, including selected plantation crops, under stringent oversight, we enable Indian farmers in increasing agricultural productivity by leveraging high quality seeds, optimum crop management practices, and information support. Product performance is further enhanced by continuous engagement with the grower’s community through regular scientific and technical exchanges, thereby closing the feedback loop at every step.

UAB also promotes Organic Farming by “Organic adoption and Certification of Agricultural Crops” in different States by assisting in capacity building of organic growers, and thereby producing seeds organically, and on demand.
